Jung Gi Hoon is an archaeologist who has always been interested in all sorts of mystical phenomena. But one day a strange incident completely changed his life. Now he publishes the occult magazine "Monthly Strange Stories" and runs a Youtube channel. Because of his ex-wife Lee Soo Jin, he goes to Jinyang County to investigate a Buddhist statue that is said to be possessed by an evil spirit. Lee Soo Jin is an archaeologist specializing in deciphering symbols. She does her job well, but after the death of her only child, she moved to Jinyang County, where she met with mystical and mysterious events.
