What does "strip HTML" do?
Removes <i>, <b>, <font color="..."> and other inline tags that some sources embed in subtitle text. Preserves the actual words.
How do you detect ad lines?
A pattern list catches the most common boilerplate (OpenSubtitles, YIFY, Subscene, "please rate", domain mentions). Toggle the option off if you want to keep credits.
Will my output stay in the same format?
Yes. SRT in, SRT out.
What about ASS styling tags like {\b1}?
Stripped along with HTML when "Strip HTML" is on.
