Adapted from the eponymous book, this fictional thriller follows a determined police officer who uses her investigative skills to dive into two intriguing cases. She helps victims wake up against violence and injustice: a woman tricked by an internet scammer, and Janete, the wife of Brandão, an intelligent and dangerous serial killer who leads an apparently normal life but secretly imprisons his prey like birds in a cage.
