How precise can I get?
Down to 1 millisecond. Use the millisecond input for fine-tuning; the slider handles bulk shifts in 50ms steps.
Do I need a video file?
No — this tool only needs the subtitle file. If you have the video handy, you can also load it locally and preview the shifted subtitles directly over playback.
What if some cues need a different shift than others?
Use the Partial Sync Shifter — it shifts only cues within a time range you choose.
Will the format change?
No. The output stays in the same format you uploaded.
Can I shift backwards?
Yes. Negative values pull every cue earlier on the timeline.
