This visually stunning black-and-white romantic drama chronicles a passionate yet tumultuous love affair between a free-spirited singer and a sophisticated musician. Set in post-World War II Poland and spanning over a decade across various European cities, their intense connection is constantly tested by political pressures, ideological differences, and their own complex personalities amidst the stark realities of the Cold War. It's a melancholic yet beautiful exploration of love, art, and freedom.
