“Spy” is a hilarious action-comedy that brilliantly subverts the traditional spy genre. A brilliant but unassuming desk-bound CIA analyst, accustomed to guiding agents from behind a computer, suddenly finds herself thrust into the dangerous world of international espionage. When her partner is compromised and other top agents are exposed, she volunteers to go undercover. What follows is a fast-paced, globe-trotting adventure filled with unexpected twists, outrageous disguises, and uproarious humor. This film offers a fresh and empowering take on the spy thriller, proving that heroism can come in any package.
