Haruka Tsubaki, a legendary anchor, returns to Tokyo from New York to fill a newscaster position at CNB Television. After a past incident forced her to leave her previous role, she's brought back by Senior Executive Director Katsutoshi Shibata, who promises to take responsibility for her actions. Upon arrival, Haruka immediately dismisses the established programming strategy, demanding scoops and appointing weather forecaster Nozomi Asuka as her 24-hour assistant. Nozomi, full of doubts, wonders what awaits her as she moves into Haruka's apartment.
