Convert MicroDVD to SRT — Frame-Based to Time-Based

MicroDVD uses {startFrame}{endFrame}text syntax — frame-based. Modern players want time-based subtitles. We convert frames to milliseconds using the file's declared FPS (or 23.976 default).

Frequently asked questions

What FPS does it use?
If the file starts with {1}{1}<fps>, we use that. Otherwise we default to 23.976. You can re-time afterward with the Frame-rate Converter.
